Man those are Hot Springs

I am here in the famed Vridelni Kolonada taking my first sips of the natural (and supposedly quite medicinal) hot spring water here in Karlovy Vary.
Yuck, it tastes awful. Salty and a bit sulfuric. I have flashbacks of Peru and the wretched vomitting produced by drinking the water there..... but hoards of tourists are partaking and have been for hundreds, thousands of years. They are all old and so darn cute; so eager to fill their purchased tourist teapot like glasses from the fountain. They drink within miliseconds of filling their cups.... as if this holy nectar loses medicinal value with each passing second.
Geez. I honestly wish I would not have gotten such a big glass. It tastes terrible, and I'm not sure how they would take to me pouring it out.

There is a big room adjacent to the fountains that has a really big guyseur (sp?). It continuously spits and shoots really high up into the air. I like it in here. It's warm.
I went swimming in the thermal pool earlier today. I lasted all of about 10 minutes. It was cold and I lost my token thingy that I got at the door. I really didn't know what it the token thingy was for, but I figured I had better get out of there before someone asks me for it. I am scared of Czech women.... they are mean. Plus there were naked people in there. Ew.

Funny. This sulphuric water smells strangely, taste like horsep*** but supposedly is good for your health...

Swimming in this kind of water drives up your heartbeat and makes you tired, but in a nice way.
Just a note: All over Europe in some thermal baths it is common to be undressed, in saunas it could even happen you are asked to leave the steam room if you wear something apart from a towel around you. Nudity is a rather normal aspect in SOME parts of life in Europe, as you may see from the normal newspapers and magazines here.
Enjoy Prague, try some plum Knoedel and the great Budweiser beer (which is very different from the US brand).
Have fun.
