New York, NY
POSTED BY CHRISTINE
We landed in New York at 9am which was an hour and a half late, but I slept through all the taxiing and volleying back and forth from the runway to the gate and back again (Jon wasn’t as lucky and filled me in on the details later…I was happy I had taken a Tylenol PM for the red eye flight!). We hopped on the bus and wound our way through Queens and into Brooklyn, had a great time seeing everything. We ended up walking around Brooklyn all day as our couchsurf host was M.I.A. most of the day. We found a beautiful sculpture garden by Pratt Institute and enjoyed resting our aching legs there! We’ve posted pictures on Flickr under the name seeingspain so look for that person’s photos. We don’t know the direct link yet. We’ll have to write more about our NYC experience later…
We’re writing this from Think Coffee in the East Village near NYU and Washington Square park. We’re headed to JFK Int’l. where we’ve got a date with Barcelona!
