Thunderball Cave, Staniel Cay Bahamas
October 11th, 2013- Here are a few pictures of an unusual spot on Staniel Cay. My frinds, Jon Korn, John Ruffing and I anchored by the cave where the underwater scenes from the James Bond movie “Thunderball” was filmed. In the movie, S\scuba divers are chasing James around with mini subs and spearguns. Now the cave has a healthy fish population (spearfishing is prohibited). My friends had heard you could climb outside the cave to some holes that dropped 30 feet into the pool inside the cave, and they finally talked me into doing it – it was pretty wild!
