might as well face it, i’m addicted to clothes!
hellllllllo! we took the nighttrain which was very cool and arrived in hoi an at around 11:30 in the morning. since then we have been eating delicious food and shopping our brains out. so much so, in fact, that this must be a short post as i must go out and attend to my shopping needs! tonight i will post a more satiating read hopefully including pictures. i have been trying to upload pictues for the past 4 days and am having a very difficult time as all the computers are way to slow and all of the photo sites i am registered on require some program to be downloaded to the computer first. i tried sending the photos to lauren to upload for me but when i tried to attach the folder with all my pics in it, it would only allow me to attach one photo at a time. any suggestions on what i can do would be appreciated. okay stories including monsoon flooding, delicious fish, and custom made pants to follow later this evening (assuming all of the stores close, and someone confiscates my dong so i can’t shop until dawn).

yeah, shopping is fun. bring me back some pantaloonies.
Hey Maris:
I missed out on your long ago graduation, but I’m glad you escaped NYC to travel the world a bit! It sounds like you’re eating yummy noodles and managing to scare the locals. I wish I could join for a few meals in those back alley, funky, perfect eateries I’m sure you’re finding. Keep having a great time for all of us old fogies facing down the barrel of life and career choice.
best,
Jason
i read all the posts tonight and was so overwhelmed!! I cannot tell you how jealous i am of the food and sights and experiences (and of course those shopping trips which i hope to hear more about in the next post). keep doing what you’re doing, i want to hear all about it. love you, miss you. And i have to say, be safe, cause you say things like that to me when i am on my travels…

Zip up the photos using winzip. I would be surprised if the computer didnt have it. Highlight you photo(s) and right-click. You should see an option called “add to archive” or “add to zip”. That should package all your photos into 1 file.
