near death (part 197)
aaaaaaagh! this morning i brushed my teeth with tap water and then freaked out for a few minutes but i am still alive and this happened a few hours ago, so probably i will keep on living. today we go to the beach. tonight we pick up all of our clothes. tomorrow, we were going to leave but it is the full moon festival here in hoi an, so we will stay. we really haven’t spent that much money so stop freak out everyone! we are smart travelers who always knew that hoi an would present issues and challenges that for the most part we have risen to and conquered so CUT IT OUT! we’ll stop shopping when we are good and ready! i will present the final tallies before we leave. after hoi an we are thinking about going to Dalat, a kind of mountanous woodland with strawberry and blackberry fields then to mui ni (probably spelled wrong) for a little beach before saigon (aka HCMC) and then either to this island below cambodia or straight to Pnom Phen from Saigon. more on this as plans develop….
