Monday Update
I thought I’d be updating every day since I left work but it had been a busy weekend with hanging out with some co-workers at Bennigan’s on Friday night as well as football on Sunday. I really enjoyed Friday night and it was exactly what I wanted. Just a casual get together at the bar. Although I may have had a few too many shots of jager. Thanks to Crystal and Adrianne for the nice cards. I thought it was funny that they were the exact same!
I never thought I would be so happy to be sick but it had been lingering all weekend and finally came on full blown this morning. This means I should be ok throughout my first couple of months. I really wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting sick while in Africa since I have a much more specific plan and need to be certain places at certain times. If I get sick again in Asia I can just stay put wherever I am and not have to do any “travel” and spend the time just resting.
Hopefully this only lasts a couple of days and I can get back on track with the final preparation as well as enjoy the holiday.
I leave January 3rd.
