the stuff addiction is made of.

Namaste everyone!

I have to report a slight addiction. I get up in the morning, usually about sunrise these days, get my things ready to have some adventures, but have to move at an alarmingly fast pace for a person with no real time restraints.

Why you ask?

I have an addiction to chai. I need the sweet, milky tea. I crave the stuff all through the day and when added with the crispy donught type breads you get at the bakeries, chai time is suxh sweet bliss.

If I could somehow have a propane burner in my room I would make chai non-stop. But with the burner in my room, I would miss out on the second most wonderful thing about drinking chai. Watching people, chain smoking and practicing my Nepali. (ali-ali) No I wouldn’t miss this for the world,

I have found the days melting away at an easy pace here in Kathmandu. I do go see some temples, wander endless backalleys, eat as much street food as possible. Basically just enjoying the chaos that this lovely city provides as entertainment.

I haven’t put the plan into moving on, but I am having a good time while I wait.

ps. If you people at home want Thanka Paintings let me know.
I seem to be collecting Thanka artists as friends these days..

Big Hugs
