i actually left chang mai!!!
i eventually left chang mai!!! wow i know its amazing. i was in the bar at night complaining about wanting to leave chang mai and being stuck here and randomly zac pulled out a ticket to pai that he wasnt going to use for the next morning. by this time it was allready about 5 in the morning so i went home and very drunkly packed and left for the mini bus.
after 5 hours of mountain roads and me feeling worse and worse by the second i arived in pai feeling shit. as soon as i arived i saw the aussie guys that had left chang mai a few days ago. gthey were just about to leave to go camping and asked if i fancied going along to.
so went up to this national park that was upo in the mountains it was pissing down with rain and well foggy so we chose the right days to go camping bloody hell its like england!!. about 30 people camped there altogether. thais, aussies, englih bloody everyone. so spent the evening smoking and drinking and watching the most beautifull sunset. where it had been really misty and rainy it was spillinjg over thje mountains and making the veiw amazing..
next mkorning i had my first motarbike crash….woo woo! wasnt exactly my fault as the mist was back in and yo0u couldnt see 2 metres in front of you but i just slid to the side and dropped the bike not too much damage. but carried on and this time only about 10 of us headed out for a nother hour to a remote karon (hill tribe) village where the is a resort to give the hill tribe people something to do apart from smoke opium! we headed further in to the jungle and camped by this massive lake it was amazing trying tomake a fire from soaking wet wood and build shelter. wqe had a wild dog sitting watching us all night that was quite unerving.
headed back to pai the next day and was supposed to go to a house party but fell asleep like a fool. next day went to get my tatoo. i now have a beautifull bamboo tattoo on my back of water, a lotus flower and the ohm symbol. the fact that it is all done by bamboo makes it even better. i headed back to chang mai that afternoon.

Jen, this blog though dated 16th December, (should it have been the 6th Dec?) does not seem to be up to date! Apart from anything else motor bikes and you do not seem to go together! You seem to have conveniently forgotten your first excursion on a m/bike at Julia’s many years ago when you came off and slid under the fence!! I also believe that you have had another one since this blog but the saga does not seem have caught up to that stage yet! I will not spoil the story for others who may read these comments but we look forward to being brought up to date in due course!LL M & D
