As you may know from previous posts, I participate in Operation Christmas Child every year. This year, collection of shoe boxes is November 5-10th.
The purpose is to give a child in a less fortunate country a Christmas present. Your present is either for a boy or girl and either for preschool, elementary or junior high aged children. THey also ask for a 5 dollar donation for each box to cover shipping costs.
I usually fill mine with some school supplies and some fun toys. The dollar store is where I get a lot of my stuff but I do give away some of my collection of stuffed animals. I kinda feel I gotta phase em out of my shelf space. I made 10 boxes last year. Find out more about it or make a box! It’s for a good cause.
