When I got back to the house on Monday night, some of the housemantes told me about a Spanish fiesta that was happening over the weekend and mentioned that tonight was the last night. Obviously, I wanted to go so English Mike, Eveline and I went to Darling harbour to check it out. The small food booths and such were closed down (no dinner for me) but we heard music coming from the waterfront so we headed over and found a live Latin music concert on a stage right by the water. The dock was full of people shaking their hips to the music.
Eveline doesn’t like to dance (“she is Dutch” as if that explains anything) and Mike only dances after he’s had a few but I managed to drag them both down for a dance at one point. First Eveline and I got her to start moving her hips to the music. Tried to teach her a salsa or something and looked up to find Mike filming us. Later on, after looking unsuccessfully around for dinner, we walked past the music and Mike sacrificed himself to my dancing craving and we went down to the dancefloor for 10 minutes. *happy b* *happy b* You have no idea how happy I was. Like a little schoolgirl! It’s the little things!
As we walked back to the house we met up with Michael and Robin. Although we walked with them back again to the harbour, they disappeared after 5 minutes (I think to buy drinks) and so the three of us left to find food. In the end we came back home to cook.
