I’m working about 30 hours this weekend for Mother’s Day. I’m sure you’ll have more fun than me mom!
Mother’s Day is usually celebrated on the first Sunday in May in Australia, one week of from International Mother’s Day (coincides with Canadian Mother’s Day). For some reason this year they are celebrating it on the same weekend!
Father’s Day is celebrated on the first Sunday in September in Australia. So I guess I kinda missed it. But then again, Dad would have gotten 2 Father’s Days in 2005.
In other news, my contract at the office has been extended until such time as I choose to leave or they hire a replacement. Their advertisement in the paper last week did not result in qualified applicants.
