Saturday night was about -20C for Charlene’s bonfire. Adam and I sat with Jana, John, and Charlene for about an hour outside before we wussed out. It wasn’t too cold for it but the bonfire just never got going. A small little campfire just doesn’t cut it when it’s -20!! Adam tried to throw on more and more wood but it must have been damp.
Jana and Johnathon brought fixin’s for s’mores and hotdogs but the chocolate wouldn’t melt and the marshmellows were frozen together in the bag! Jana had to finish cooking her
wiener on a wire in the wood stove in Charlene’s basement.
