I spent the evening with Eddie’s third degree friend, Kathryn, who lives in Sydney. She was kind and sweet enough to walk with me across the harbour bridge even though she was still in her work clothes and didn’t have a jacket. I felt bad about it cuz ot the crazy amount of wind here.
She called one of her friend’s she met in Brazil 6 months ago when she was travelling and when we met up with him for dinner at Manly, we realized we were living together!!! how funny is that! what a coincidence.
I asked her about her WHV in Canada and what she thought of our country. She has photos of canada up in her office.
I also mentioned my latest observation, Aussies say “Ta” instead of Thank You
She said that Canadians say “uh-huh” instead of You’re Welcome.
