It’s funny that I call it the annual winter potluck because I didn’t have it for 2 years… Last year was a Chocoholic buffet, the year before I was in Melbourne.
But this one was pretty small but good. 7 of us showed up, ate well and played board games. I made my very first 8 person roast off a recipe supplied by Alton Brown’s Good Eats. I think it was very tasty.
I wonder if Shauna and Zousar enjoyed themselves being the new ones to the group. We played a game called Things where you ahve to match peple’s responses to them. That’s tricky when you aren’t familiar with people.
Thanks for the presents guys. Wasn’t expecting any. I’m not fishing for presents when I hold a little get together in honour of my birthday.
In other news, I think I’m a square. I lost my funny. If anyone has seen it, there is a reward! Lemme know.
