Adelaide

I’ve been in Adelaide for 2 days now and it’s a sleepy town but it’s nice. I am staying with my aunt, uncle and cousins but my aunt and uncle are currently in Brissie for a Bridge tourney and won’t get back until the 7th of March. I hope that Eveline and I will have gotten jobs by then and hopefully found a nice apartment too. There are no share houses here (I’ve been told by some people working in the YHA hostel) since the market here is quite small so we are looking at getting an apartment together for a month. I hope to only work one month and then do Perth.

Meeting up with Tim on Sunday when he gets into town before his big trip up the centre.

Oh and I got phone’d. One of Eddie’s friends, Rachel, gave me her old phone to use. She’s the same gal who donated her other old phone when I first landed in Sydney.

I also met the person who is the link between Kathryn, the Sydneysider who took me under her wing while I was in Sydney, and Eddie. It’s great to finally meet the connecting person and she knows all the stories about Sydney. She just came back from camping with Kathryn last weekend too. Funny.

One last thing, Playstation’s Singstar game is awesome. It’s karoke but with scoring. It uses the original vidoeo and recordings of popular music so it’s pretty sweet! I’ve already got two high scores! One on singing “Video Killed the Radio Star”. oh ya baby, I’m a singstar SUPERSTAR!!
