Getting Lucky

Even if I do become Mrs. Thompson-Ledger, the biggest score on this trip will still be the 3 adjacent seats on the flight from LAX to Sydney. Elizabeth got her own row too. How? Be aggressive. B E Aggressive… The “economy plus” section was practically empty on our flight. So we had our bags in hand and sprinted to claim our new-found lateral class seats once the announcement was made.
Highlight of the trip so far: When in customs the agent said “So you don’t have a job in America?” Thanks for reminding me.

Not really. But we’re in Sydney and I have no clothes. I am in Sydney and my clothes are in Los Angeles. I wouldn’t wish LA on an enemy, much less my beloved backpack. Elizabeth got lost in LAX, I got lost in LAX and apparently the baggage handler got lost in LAX. Cross your finger I get it today. Australia sure is hot in a sweater.
