Before we leave…
Hi guys, welcome to our Year-Out-In-Oz ‘blog’!
Having been planning this trip for about a year now, it’s only 2 weeks til D-day and we are very excited. Craig has done his last day at work today and said his fond farewells to the ladies in the oatcake shop! I’ve still got one last day to do 🙁 but then I’ll be totally unemployed for the first time in 5 years! Woohoo! There’s not much to report right now, but make sure you store this page in your internet ‘favourites’ and come back soon to see what we’re up to (I might have even managed to get some photos on here by then!)

Hiya Craig and Sam,
Sorry its been a while but our family at the moment is a total disaster area. Last week Donna fell down the stairs, top to bottom, she never does anything in halves!!
Dont panic though, she is ok although she has got a really sore back, baby is ok we have heard the heartbeat and she is now feeling it move. She goes for another scan on Monday. Nana Kath went straight out and bought her some slippers, Donna was not wearing any at the time!! Bless.

Vinnie was going to work last night, 5.30pm. received phone call he had broken down on the main road, Uncle Gino raced up to help him. Started pushing the car and something in his leg went pop. I received a phone call to go upto them to find Uncle Gino stuck in the middle of the car park holding his leg. Craig took him the hospital. He has torn his calf muscle and is now on crutches!!!! I am really ticked off because he should have been decorating this weekend. How inconsiderate is he!!!
Hope you two are fairing better, it certainly sounds as if you are having a brilliant time, seeing loads of new things and having different experiences. Hope Penny is living upto your expectations.
Went a Virgin Vie party last night at Donnas, even though Gino was in agony, and Me Julie was the model, we did threaten to take photos of her at the worst moments but then decided not to.
