A Brief Update From Vietnam

Laura writes
Vietnam has excelled my every expection. Four days into our stay and I have already fell in love with this beautiful vibrant city. Saigon is incredible. This hustling and bustling city is not all it appears on the surface, for through the busy markets and uncrossable roads, tranquility is only a moment away.

Rupert writes
We’ll expand on this in more detail very soon but we’ve ran out of time here. We leave Saigon in ten minutes! And head to Mui Ne, a little north fom here. We’re expecting nothing so it’s all very exciting, but we will miss this place; it’s been easy to feel safe and relaxed here.

Love to all.

    Hi
There is a panic here about bird flu which is contagious to humans. Any word out there ? Anyway people are saying dont eat chicken there! Do you think this is all paranoia or what
Still great writings – I was even wondering whether some magazine or paper would pay you for these words

    Hey dad,

The panic is pretty real, but the warnings are to stay away from live poultry and ensure chicken is properly cooked – stick to that and the risk is low. But yes, there’s a massive outbreak and the whole of Asia is in a panic.

There are thousands of people who would like to make money out of travel writing, many far better writers than me. But you never know! Thanks for the ego boost at least 😉
