Goodbye Petite

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

So this last weekand my parents came up from CA to see me. We had a great time. What they brought with them was a huge amount of surprises. The first being that they did not fly up here which is what they told me they were doing, they drove there new car as well as the Jetta they own. And then told me that the Jetta was mine!! What! I no longer have the GEO. You are kidding. But they were not and I am completley floored. Not only did I recieve a car but we went out furniture shopping. I am thrilled ;I have a couch and a ottaman. So come on over and check out the new digs. It is so fun to walk into my own apartment and sit down on a great couch and watch a dvd and smile!!

I feel very fortunate and thrilled to be moving into a new decade of my life. Thanks mom and dad for being who you are and for sharing in the joy of my growth. You both kick ass!!!

And let us all have a moment of silence for petite and I going seperate ways.

She will live on with Lisa so don’t worry the next time it snows Lisa will be driving us around.

Randoms happenings

Friday, January 27th, 2006

So not only am I moving on saturday there are a million other things happening of course. First it is two friends birthday on Saturday which I also read was National Yoga Day. Go figure.

Charity Ruth Edmondson will be 28 and celebrating in the warm sun of Arizona and James Jay Fenton will be 36 and celebrating in SF. I am sure he will either be working or contemplating life and the world. Welcome to the Aquarian times.

Along with that Kindred, Insight Out’s production will be opening on the 2nd of February. It is going to be amazing EVERYONE should check it out. Fly up to Ptown and witness great work and storytelling in action. It will be at the IFCC if you want info go to insightouttheatre.org

Also this interesting event of Drammy drinking and hobnobbing with the people and community of theatre here in Portland. Should be intresting if I go. Hey there are door prizes, who wouldn’t want to go.

As well as New Avenues for Youth aka NAFY and Playwrite Inc. are coming together for an afternoon of plays. Playwrite has been spending time with homeless youth and teaching them how to write plays. They then write them and then professional actors act them out. It will be happening on Tuesday. It should be such an afternoon of stories and great accomplishments. Way to go young writers!!

So that is sort of all I think. Hope all is well and busy for you and love and creativity to all
