Progressive Turkey Day

I want to express the thankfulness and rock and roll that took place for Turkey Day. I began my morning with making homemade cranberry sauce. Thanks mom and headed over to Angie’s to help and hang out since I was not going to be there for her turkey day. I arrived and went to work with making her wild mushroom pecan stuffing muffins and a bloody mary. Sarah arrived and we all kept helping with making her holiday just yummy! They even had a fire pit going in the back which was warm and smoky.
Then home to pick up Juls and Lisa. We drove over to Ericka and Free’s and drove with them in Jen’s big van with martenellis and had a rip roaring time. Sam and Kristin and Susan had a beautiful spread and a great list of cocktails. As usual we laughed and laughed about the true importants of green bean casserole and that “somebodies coming” (inside joke that must be explained on request)
Then we journey over to Erika and Free’s house. Which was stunning. A fire place, candles everywhere and a beautiful table. I really was floored by the warmth of this Portland family and the creativity of all our spirits. Dinner was tasty.
We then venture forth to Julianna,Lisa and my house and begin the rock and roll adventure. Celebrity played twice. delicious dessert and a whole lot of coffee and drinks. Thanks to the Manzana crew for making another holiday apperance and thank you to all of the family.
It was an incredible day of joy, laughter and great thankful cheer. I believe we kicked this season off just right. Ah and the left overs.
Coming soon; the “Stuffing Party” everyone says they have the best stuffing. Bring your and we will see which one is the best and what makes the best stuffing the best.
Happy Holidays
