It was wonderful to see your photos from Senegal. They took me back 35 years when Gab and I visited West Africa. Senegal was our first stop. I will never forget going to Goree and feeling the ancestral spirits surround me in the dungeon. I hope we can talk more about the trip when I see you. Please keep in touch.

Didn’t know you and Gab visited Goree 35 years ago! Ruth and I went together for the first time, 27 yrs. ago. I took a nice photo this trip, of Joseph N’Diaye, curator of the Goree Museum. We must get together soon to talk.
