Mousetrap!

Yay! I saw the mousetrap. I have to say I wonder how the actors feel playing for a not very full house every night. The theater was adorable (they sell ice cream at intermission – why doesn’t broadway do that?? (answer: Americans would make a mess)). Seeing the play after having it read so many times was sort of surreal. I would’ve interpreted some scenes a bit differently. And one of the crucial scenes with Miss casewell I thought was far too obvious and giving it away – but then I already knew who done it. Overall, a good time was had by all. (The interval music was particularly great).

This morning I went to the natural history museum. Pretty good entomology section (although geared towards kids), a good dino display, and a SERIOUSLY fantastic exhibition from BBC nature’s wildlife photographer of the year competition. They now have a book out featuring photos from the last 20 years (something about the earth in light?) that I seriously want. The photos were great. I’m tres jealous. I wish I knew how to take photos like that. (although I personally still like my berries shot).

Headed to Penzance this evening, and then working my way back to Salisbury, and back to London by the 7th for my flight. Or so I hope – we’ll see how it goes.
