Finding My Fix: Chronicles of a Travel Junkie

So Aug 17, the All Blacks will be paying our way to Fiji. They’ll carry us to the beach so we don’t have to burn our toes on the beautiful sand. They’ll lay out our towels for us, and fan us with palm leaves, and bring us our pina coladas, and feed us grapes, and… dream on we will!

Also, I’d like to know who’s reading this blog so I know who I still need to tell about it, so if you’re reading, feel free to leave comments no matter who you are!

I thought maybe I should mention that I will be going to Fiji for a week toward the end of August with four people I met about a week ago. The cost of the entire trip comes to about NZ$1000, which is about US$700. We’ll be staying on Beachcomber Island, a Fijian island that is only 2 hectares. It takes 10 minutes to walk around the island. Let’s just hope the Tsunamis hold out till after we leave. Tomorrow we go back to the travel agency to confirm our reservation, and as long as everything is ok, we have some serious sun to look forward to in about 6 weeks. I’m definately excited!
