Day 13, 13/09/05, Last day in Bangkok.
After a discussion last night I met up with Charlie and Ant this morning and headed of to travel agents. They had already bought tickets for the sleeper train for tonight taking us south around 600 miles to Surat Thani, then bus and boat to the Island of Ko Pha-Ngan. Party Island…..
In a tv show showing top 10 party places in the world this came 2nd beating Ibiza. We are all going to a full moon all night beach party with around 40000 people normally there which is in 5 or 6 days. We will therefore have a few days to explore the Island, no cars allowed here so we will hire motorbikes to get around and find all the deserted beaches.
Going to be a complete contrast to Bangkok.
The party happens at Sunset beach in Hat Rin Nai. Also once there we will only be a short boat ride from Ko Sumui and Ko Toa plus lots of little deserted Islands. Should be fun…
Dont know what internet access is like there so if I go quiet for abit dont worry….
Off to pack up now, leaving Bagkok in 3 hours which is 5pm here and the trip will take about 12 hours.
Oh the night trail we go on has beds, one each but also a party carrige so should be fun meeting up Im sure with loads of people all heading to the beach party.

Enjoy the speed boat ride over. I’m former Navy guy and I never experienced such action on a boat. I don’t believe we ever touched the water only to bounce down every so often. The return ride was smooth and sudate in comparison. The logistics for the return was chaos particurely with drunks and weeded out people 😉
It was great though, I really enjoyed the flame performers and the smokes. Find a spot, chilled and let the action come to you. I saw the program about it being in the top 10 party joints but I really want to do Ibizia. So far I experienced Palma de Mallorca many years ago during Navy time and loved it.

Sounds a bit good… like Hedonism club in Caribbean Uncovered… fill yer boots. 40000 to choose from. Forget about us here at home with our petrol crisis and one hour queues at the pumps for any1 stupid enuf to wait that long that is…
