Day 3, 3/9/05, Chiang Mai
Bit Hung over but got up in time….
Had a fab English Breakfast met up with Amee and Julianne ( who was very tired from here pole dancing exploits with the Thai girls from last Night)
Taxi to Hua Lamphong Station cathing the 8.30am train to Chiang Mai which is 686 miles and takes 12 hours. Some great views from the train…
Was not sure bout the whole 12 hour thing but it went well and we got fed 3 times to which was a bonus.
Arrived in Chiang Mai and got a sawngthaew ( pickup truck with benches in the back and roof ) which took us to our hostel called Your Guest House, 190 baht a night just over 2 pounds, own room, double bed, two fans and en-suite, cant be bad. Checked Emails, watched England beat Wales 1-0 then headed in for an early night to sort journal out and listen to music.
