March 30, 2005Noodle Soup...
One of the great things about traveling in Vietnam is that it is never hard to find food. Lots of ladies carry baskets from home, one on each end of a wooden yoke draped over their shoulders. They find a spot on the pavement and in a few minutes they are open for business. Noodle soup for sale, or spring rolls, or rice, or.... you name it! This spot isn't on the usual tourist route so these people were very surprised to see me! They stared at me while I ate, smiling and giggling if I looked up. So I tried hard not to spill any noodles on myself, challenging my chopstick agility. Comments
ramen, anyone? Ilike how the one lady is sitting on her shoes, what a great idea! Posted by: Suzen on April 2, 2005 01:25 PM |
