Stalls selling trinkets, religious music, food and freshly pressed sugarcane juice lined the path to the pagoda. It was a big business because of all the pilgrims. There was a party atmosphere in the air. People were happy and excited to have arrived. The idea of these trinkets is you take them into the pagoda and pray over them, then display them in your house where they will bring you good luck.
