Her baby stayed fast asleep, snuggled up on her back as she cooked dinner. Comments
It is well known in the East that babies develop into more healthy children if body contact is maintained for the first year of life - in part they can hear the heartbeat which is so familiar to them, and also they achieve a level of safety and warmth from their mother which is such a familiar environment to them. With all our hi-tech advances we have lost these simple patterns in our childcare. Who is the more disadvantaged I wonder? N Posted by: natalia on March 29, 2005 05:03 AMWhat a sweet sleeping baby. Oh, you know without that intense of a bonding we're all so disadvantaged in that respect. Posted by: Suzen on April 2, 2005 01:34 PM |
