At the moment I'm reading: "House of the Spirits" by Isabel Allende. I've got the Spanish copy as I thought it would be good practice for South America, but it turns out my Spanish is even worse than I imagined, so I'm finding it pretty hard going. By "pretty hard going," I mean that I've been lugging it around since Cairns and I'm still only 4 pages into it.

What I want to be reading: the new Harry Potter. Am hoping to scrounge or borrow a copy from someone. Can't afford to get it new and there is absolutely no room in my backpack, even after ditching Bubba.
