February 10, 2005Meg Ryan, Mumbai and Pie a la mode
Oh. My. Lord. Forgive me, because I have sinned - actually, no. That just seemed to come out when I was typing. There's been no sinning (nothing that needs noting, anyway), but a helluva lot of eating! Fellow food-a-philes, I am so happy - after all my complaints about blandness and dulled-down-traveller-mush, now there is Mumbai. Samosas, idlis, puris, chatnis, more dosas than you can poke a stick at - too good! Of course, all the old faves like palak paneer are getting a work-out too ... I am worshipping at the altar of foodness, and it is great! Until there are pictures, you'll just have to take my word for it. It's very much like THAT moment in 'When Harry Met Sally' (you know: 'I'll have what she's having!'). But forget PieALaModeButWithWhippedCreamOnTheSide - I am having everything! Hi Tiffany, You commented on my blog "The Amazing Adventures of Action Kim" so I thought I would check out your blog. You are a much better writer than me. I'm jealous. Hope you are having a great trip. Posted by: Kim on February 11, 2005 06:32 PMKim, thanks for stopping by! Your compliment is lovely, so thank you - but please believe me when I say that surfing other people's blogs always makes me feel that way, too!!! Posted by: Tiffany on February 12, 2005 12:17 AM |
