mazatlan, sinaloa

MasterDining.jpg

I have finally arrived in Mexico. Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay is far from the Airport but is very secluded and nice. It has five star amenities and would really break my budget in the long haul. It is quite expensive just to get to town and back in the taxi so my budgeting skills and haggling are being put to good use already.

I am so fortunate to have my room. It is a master suite, really decked out; I have two bathrooms, a living room, a master bedroom, a kitchenette and a beautiful set of windows overlooking the resort and playa. ( see image.)

Pueblo Bonito is expanding to add more suites and the last two mornings when I am getting up, there are chalky powdered workers taking a siesta on the unfinished concrete buildings next door, sprawled out on the floor.

I have had too many tequilas to continue with these updates, now it is time for a dip in the pool.

Maņana.

Eric, glad you are kicking back and enjoying the luxury. Looking forward to your next posting. Do NOT eat the shellfish, especially shrimp.

As a matter of fact, I just had some shrimp today. They say it is cooked in lime juice. I'm still not sure how that works but it was pretty tasty. If anybody needs me I'll be in the bano the next couple of days....

just kidding, bout the banyo. i really did eat ceviche camaron.

Hey E,
glad to hear you're having such a good time. HELP, something got screwed up on my computer. When you get past all those margaritas, can you try and remember what settings you put my modem on. (Sorry!)
I'm enjoying your updates.

Alright, I found you! I got the url from Joe Kitty's day planner.
I've traveled extensively through Mexico and Europe; so I can give some friendly advice when needed. As for the Shellfish, go for it! Eat as much as you can, as fast as you can. You'll be out of the coma in less than three days and feel like a new man! It's almost a spiritual experience.
Good luck on your travels.....

Jan,
What settings are you talking about? that is to say, what are you trying to do, what is not working, etc. you should try to e-mail me more details...
your modem should be running at the lightning speed of 28.8kbps. what settings are you referring to specifically?
