Joe Kitty is almost 4 months old. His life is pretty good. He sleeps whenever he pleases, has a nice saucer of milk every day for breakfast by the pool, and has a great mum and dad that love him very much.

Dad calls him Joe, Mum calls him Mr. Kitty. This can be a little confusing for Mr. Kitty but his parents say he's learning that Joe is his first name, Kitty is his family name, and Mum is just a little more formal in addressing him than Dad.

The only thing that's not so nice about Mr. Kitty's life is bed time. "They put me out in the garage and shut me out there for the night," Joe says. "It's downright intolerable. My litter box is so full and so stinky out there, and there's nobody to play with."

His favorite activity is sitting on Dad's lap. "I played with Joe and all of his siblings before picking one of them to take home. The moment I picked Joe up, he started purring and seemed happier than the rest. I took him home that day and he's been a fine lap cat ever since," Joe's father, Trevor Cahoon, said in a Daily Times interview last Tuesday.

Although Joe has never been neutered, he says, "I plan to live the modern life of the metrosexual male for a while. I'm not quite ready for any long term committments. I still have many years of lap sitting in me yet." We hope you do, Joe.
