October 04, 2004India snaps
My last night in India, Gari's flight was very early the next day so we decided to stay up until dawn. We sat on the rooftop bar of our guesthouse all through the dry warm night, at 4.30am Gari left for the airport, and a while later the sun lit up the sky. It was the last day of my RTW trip, of more than fourteen months travelling. Trying to hold it all in my head at once isn't yet possible for me. I tried to think about how all the things I've experienced had come to an end here on this Delhi rooftop, tried to ponder and consider, but found I couldn't. Wishing you the best, Daniel Comments

The warm sunshine (and scary insects) of Australia beckon ... Cheers, D. Posted by: Duncan Campbell on October 5, 2004 08:10 AM |
