I'm just finishing up at the office, and am about to embark on another jaunt to parts unknown. The Kat is in Guam for the weekend, and I'm going to see Melody. It will be a great trip for a number of reasons. First, the obvious...getting to spend time with my wife. Second, the chance to see where she was born and grew up for the first 10 years or so of her life. Third, the chance to meet some more of her family who still live there, and Fourth, the chance to meet her niece, who we are flying out to meet us as a high school graduation present. We tried to get her out to Sydney when Melody was there last week, but it just didn't work out. So, we're making it up to her this way.

I'll be starting the adventure by heading up to Tokyo for the night. I'm going to stay in one of those "capsule hotels" that drunk businessmen use when they can't find their way to the train to go home. For a good description and some pictures, check out the following URL here.
