February 18, 2005Pic of the Day
Today, we went out to a deliver some stuff that we've collected for a charity here in town. While out there, we got to see one of my favorite things...a puppy. Mel and I love dogs, but due to the current situation, we just can't have one. So, we mooch off our friends who have them. There's Charlie, our God-dog (we take custody if they have to get rid of him), Brinkley the Muppet Dog, Kira the Bassett Hound, George the Mutt who would try to bite me when in my Army suit (that's of course when I was in my Army suit...not the dog. That's just silly.), and Sal and Rhiannon the Pug/Fox Terrier couple. Most of the dogs in our last neighborhood we were on a first name basis with...the dogs, that is...not sure who many of the owners were... Even in Japan, Mel has already made friends with one of the dogs down the street, whose owner lets her take her out for a walk from time to time... Mel will take pictures with her phone of dogs while out and about and email them to me.
