The coolest thing on Lake Inlay, if not in all of Burma, is Nga Phe Kyaung, the "jumping cat monastery". About 20 years ago, the bored monks started teaching their cats to jump through hoops. Now that the monastery has satellite TV, they have better things to do with their free time, like watching CNN or football. But, they are still kind enough to satisfy the hordes of tourists who descend on the monastery to watch the cats: 1 2 3 4 5
