We will be travelling to England, Egypt, and across Asia for about a year in 2004-2005. Cathy has been on a couple of short trips on her own to Egypt, East Africa, and India, and has been wanting to travel for some time.

The seed for this trip was planted when we got married in Fiji in July 2003. We met a number of other couples there who were in the middle or at the end of their own long-term trips. We realized that they weren't any richer, or smarter, or more adventurous than us, and why shouldn't we do the same thing?

So after nearly a year of planning, we will be quitting our jobs, putting everything in storage, and hitting the road!
