Seoul: Terminal

I have to admit that I didn't actually leave the airport in Korea, so this isn't going to be a particularly long or interesting entry (so no change there then), but I was excited to almost be there. I managed to get an emergency exit seat on the flight from Australia and I had an interesting chat with a girl next to me who was going there to market cochlea implants. The scenery from the aeroplane window was interesting, with lots of islands and mountains. I was booked in to the Air Garden Transit Hotel, which is literally at Gate 10 on the Departures level. I've slept in airports before, but always on seats with the tannoy blaring and people cleaning etc., so this was a novelty for me. After I checked in, I wandered around the concourse trying to find something cheap to eat as I only had 3000 won which I'd taken from the office petty cash tin. I wasn't sure how much it was, but all it got me was a couple of green tea flavoured muffins. The airport itself was all very modern and sleek, the kind of high technology type of place where you half expect the toilets to tell you to have a nice day. And that's all I have to say about Korea. One day I'll go back and actually make it outside the terminal...
