I just arrived in Mammalpuram, which is within striking distance of Chennai airport, where my friend Rolfe Kent will be arriving tomorrow morning. He's coming from LA to travel with me for three weeks. The plan is to spend the weekend in this area, then take the 34 hour-train to Delhi on Monday night (with the bike), where Rolfe will rent an Enfield of his own, so that we can tour the north of India together, before he flies back home.

After travelling alone for 5 months, I'm looking forward being two Rolf(e)s rather than one.
