November 01, 2004Planning the next 8 years of my life
Yesterday while interviewing the Tibetan girl this chinese guy was hanging out there and he offered me a cigarette in chinese and it was one of the weirdest language experiences of my life. I understood what he said, sub-consciously from learning it in class and responded without realizing fully what had happened. I wish I were near a comp so I could check my e-mail. I've decided I really want to go to Mexico - to practice Spanish, have great food, be near a beach in warm climate. I don't know when or how though. seeing the mayan history, looking at colonialism and later independence - it's fascinating. I could go for a year after college and work then the next 2 years teach with Zach doing T4A. or go for a couple months during the summer. or spend the summer after graduating then the next year travel doing some kind of project in Africa, spending the next summer in europe trekkindg, doing the eurail with Zach then doing teach 3 Am. then law school at georgetown or stanford. 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 Comments
