June 12, 2004On Safari....
..... and me without my suit. The next morning we drove to Udawalawe National Park, hired a Jeep, and went on safari. It was so good to see elephants in the wild, but this is more of a pictures thang sooooo...... Family Life, Big Boy, close up, mmmm wrinkley, hawkeagle and finally happy punter. It's funny, this was one of the highlights of our trip but the photos don't really show it. Elephants don't actually do much in the wild, they have to eat 300kgs of grass a day (which doesn't leave much time for partying) just to stay alive. They are so peaceful, they knew we were there but they really couldn't have cared less. I think theres something in that for all of us don't you? Comments
