Sin City

October 13th, 2005

Well what can I say about Las Veges that hasn’t been said?? I guess I’ll sum it up like a Mastercard visa commercal:

Partying at the Pure Nightclub with Watermelon maritnis: $0
Playing roulette: $200
Riding all the rides 1100 feet above the ground at the Stratosphere: $30
Dancing on stage at the Elton John concert: Priceless

And yes I said it…I went to Elton Johns concert and it was a kickass very trippyish concert:) Oh and Pam Anderson did a pole dance on stage while he played too. The conference gave us all free tickets worth $250…I was really close to sell it for more gambling money:)

I had a good time in Las vegas but I’m really happy to leave. My hotel room was awesome. I made some good contacts at the conference and I’m out. Here are some pics, put your mouse on top the pic for a description:

Moving on up….

October 4th, 2005

Well…I moved from the hostel into the hotel for the conference. Let me tell you the hostel was getting old even if I stayed in it for one night. The smell of Ramen noodles just remimded me of broker (is that a word?) times
And let me tell you ….. I moved on up!! The hotel room is awesome. It has a wall that’s nothing but glass facing the Pridental Center. And I’m on the top floor

Yesterday I ate in the oldest restaurant in Boston called the Union Oyster House. It’s been in business for 170 years. I even sat at JFK’s favorite table. It was a good meal I had Clam Chowder with mussel, shrimp, scallops and crab….yum.

I also saw the USS Constitution, Paul Revere’s Hosue annd the church he warned the people that the British were coming. See the pics below. Just put your mouse over the pics for a short description

Well I gotta go…I got a presentation to do!!

I’m in Boston!!!!

October 2nd, 2005

Hello guys….while trying to hustle to make my 7am flight I forgot my travel journal. But since this is a business trip I decided to kick off my online travel blog!! What can I say first about Boston except it definitly has history!! Today I’ve stood on the site where the Boston Massacre occured, saw the Old State House where the Declaration was read to the people of Boston for the first time, leaned against the tree that stood three hundred years ago giving shade to the 54th regimen (the first black troop that fought in the civil war) and visited the graves of Paul Revere, Samual Adams, Crispus Attuckus (first man who died in the Boston Massacre..and yes he was half black/native american) even Mother Goose whose real name was Mary Goose.
History is everywhere!!

Present Day...No Explaination Needed

Boston so far is literally a real live history lesson. It’s amazing that I was surrounded by all of this history and instantly saw the fruition of those historical ideals. Sorry guys if the pics are poor quality…I’ll post more in my photo album…damn memory restritions!!

The hostel Im staying at is surperb at the hostel level. They give you free flip flops for the showers!! Well gotta go. I wanna explore
