Tigre is an amazing little day trip from Buenos Aires. It only takes about 40min by train to get there and if you take the Tren de la Costa, you can take in gorgeous views of the Delta and Rio de la Plata as you travel in. Tigre is known for its elaborate river and canal system which ultimately ends up as a city entirely on water. Grocery boats, gorgeous hotels and tons of water make this a great way to escape the last of the summer heat in Buenos Aires.
