You’d think that actually playing a sport would make it more interesting but not in the case of cricket. Fielding is just as boring in baseball as it is in cricket. But two hours killed and I can say that I got some “exercise”. Ended up dancing and doing cartwheels in the field rather than paying attention to the game. Matt ended up lying down in the field for a long time singing the Star Spangled Banner, just to be annoying!
That night we went to the Vietnamese street near our house for Chinese New Year celebrations. The street was closed, had a lot of carnival rides and different booths with food and electronic nicknacks for sale. I got whiplash on the “dodgems” (bumper cars).
Chinatown will have new year celebrations on the weekend of the 20th. I hope to go to that as well.
