Was nice and relaxing and yet, I feel I’ve been on the go a lot. Met up with Brent for his birthday lunch to catch up on everything the past couple of months and together we went looking at some backpacks and other supplies he might need for his 5 week journey to Japan next year. Also went for a walk in the river valley with a friend. Lovely time, and I actually got to see a real live beaver! sorta. It was getting dark, and so I could only make out a shape of something on the bank across the river that seemed to move ever so slowly…. but ya, cool. Then I cleaned up, baked and spent time with friends on the holiday Monday. All in all, I feel rested and I hope you guys had a great long weekend as well.
Speaking with Brent about my tips for him got me quite excited and I’m still considering going to Vicki’s wedding in April but have made no plans or done a budget. Japan sounds like a more expensive country though. That chat also made me think about where I could potentially travel during the Christmas holiday… oh, com’on seat sale!
