I spent the first 2 days translating things from english to chinese to french and am finally able to skip that intermediate step.
These sorta boggles my mind but Rob knows no french. I guess it’s possible since we are from the west but I thought everyone knew just a little cuz we live in this dual language country.
I totally commend Rob for trying to speak some french while we are here. I, on the other hand, can not do that because I’m too embarrassed of my poor french accent. With chinese, I’m willing to humiliate myself, french, no. Along with that, I have to physically step away out of ear shot from any conversation Rob is trying to have because I am completely embarrassed and have this uncontrollable need to correct his pronounciation.
