YAY!
I was being quite slack on buying tickets to the Cat Empire show until the day of and unfortunately, the show was sold out! SUCKS! That’s what I get for being lazy. So I spent Friday night at home, chilling in front of the tv. It’s good though, I needed a night in anyways and I wasn’t going to get it on any other night this weekend.
Saturday, a couple gal pals and I went to a co-worker’s house to do scrapbooking/card making. And after 5 hours, 3 bags of chips and 1 bag of cookies later, we went home. Her house was great because of the space and amount of stamps, ink, ribbons, magazines and ideas because she has a dedicated space in her basement. IT WAS GOOOOOOD!! The only drawback is that we spent a lot of time chatting and looking at each other’s stuff and so I only did 3 cards in that time!!
Sunday, musical marathon! need I say more! How can you go wrong with a musical marathon except if you play a movie you thought was great when you were a child and it turns out you dislike the movie as an adult. That’s what happened to me with Annie. I remember it being WAY BETTER… Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was one I’d never seen before but it dragged on so long I could make it to the end. I was done and basically left 3/4 into the movie (which was about 6 hours into the marathon). So, for next time, we will watch shorter musicals, and better ones. Don’t listen to me!! (I chose Annie) Oh, and I will try not eat so much junk food. I actually felt mildly ill after going home! My body’s not used to all the grease anymore! I think I ate a whole tube of Pringles by myself, as well as 2 slices of pizza (I had to try the pepperoni and pineapple), Reese Peanut Butter Cups, butter tarts, and of course, more chips! oh and one doughnut! Yup, I am disgusted with myself. ;P But my girly quotient has been restored!
