Hmm… About me..My name is Bertha and I’m from Canada…
…travel wise…. I’ve enjoyed travel for a long time. I’ve even have been writing travel journals since I was in elementary school. That’s how much I liked it!
Remember those small notebooks that have lines twice the size of normal lined paper with the dotted line running down the middle of each line to help judge how big your writing should be? I have travel journals written in those!! That’s got to be about grade 1 or 2!
The first big trip without my family was WAY back 6 years ago when I went on “Love Boat” to Taiwan, a wonderful “cultural experience”. (read here for a detailed description)
After that experience I’d wanted to travel every year or every other year but didin’t have the funds and the bf wasn’t interested. We managed one trip after our graduation from University to London and Greece though. Not enough for me, so, what needs to happen? Ditch the boyfriend! 😉 j.k. And I went to China/Australia, France and Vegas. And now Singapore and back to Australia to do it again properly.
This is going to be a real challenge since I’ll be travelling by myself this time and I have to fight this inherent cheapness inside of me otherwise I’ll land in Sydney and do nothing the entire time but pick up the accent!
