Popping out of the metro tunnel, we pass by a small flower market.
Wandering around looking for Notre Dame we came across St. Chapelle. Might as well go inside, right? Surrounded by the law courts buildings it’s actually got magnificent stained glass windows that cover history from Genesis to when they built this church! The windows have got to be 15 ft tall or somethng. And so quiet and peaceful. You can only whisper in the chapel.
Notre dame didn’t quite have that same awe inspiring impact. It’s very touristy, you just get shuffled through the outer edges but it is always cool to look at all the detailed carvings.
