James & Quene travelling around the World

Hi from Yangshou in Guanxi province, in Southwest China.
This area, along with the main city of Guilin about 60km north is famous for the surrounding countryside, with it’s characteristic limestone peaks, that you can see in many a traditional chinese painting.

Yangshuo is also a travellers mecca, lots of people from everywhere decend here as it’s got great views, plenty of rivers where you can take noce boat trips and great biking country. It’s a pity it was so cold here when we got here, as we couldn’t really do much of these things, but the best time to visit would be spring/autumn.

This is actually medicine (snake wine). There are also restaurants that server you up snake and snake blood, if you wish to drink it!
Aunque no lo parezca esto cura muchas cosas ( vino de serpiente) :/

This fisherman catches fish with cormorants, at night time they go out on trips along the river to catch fish.

Yangshuo es la mecca de los viajeros , especialmente los mochileros (como nosotros), mucha gente de todo el mundo viaja aqui para disfrutar de los paisajes y
de los deportes de aventura que se pracican aqui, muchos rios y canales y sobre todo montar en bici y visitar los alrededores
Fue una pena que hiciera tanto frio.. y no pudieramos hacer mucho.La mejor temporada para venir es primavera o otono.
